My roots in Tacoma are deep — and I don’t plan on transplanting anytime soon. I’ve always had an interest in serving this city, and at the age of 25, I was elected to the City Council. During that time, I was looking for another job that would work with my crazy political schedule. So I got my real estate appraiser license, and that’s how I fell into the real estate world.
I still practice property appraising today, but after some time, I began to do real estate broker work more and more. Over the years, I also began to help investors acquire properties — and even became a multi-family property investor myself.
I’ve stayed in the real estate business over the years for plenty of reasons. For starters, I get a lot of joy from tasks that allow me to practice creative problem-solving, work in systems, and explore scalability. But even more so, I love forming lifelong connections with clients and colleagues.

Between the busy schedule of assisting my clients and the occasional property appraisal, one of the best ways for me to unwind is to just spend quiet, quality time at home with my son, and my rescue pitbull mix. (Perhaps while nursing a black Americano coffee on our porch).
