The Narrows neighborhood has it all: classy view properties, attractive waterfront at Titlow Beach, and easy access to locations like Downtown Tacoma or Gig Harbor. There is a pocket area just west of Jackson Ave called "Narrowmoor," which was specifically designed to capture views of Puget Sound. Most homes are mid-century in character, with some newer construction properties here and there. Here, you can live a suburban lifestyle but with close access to urban amenities.
Driving Directions“Views and vintage!”
This neighborhood has some of the best, most panoramic views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains in town. The sunsets are unparalleled.
Titlow Beach Park has something for everyone! Public waterfront, forest trails, open space, and fun pubs and restaurants in walking distance.
Most homes in the area were built in the 1960's-1970's. In the Narrowmoor neighborhood just west of Jackson, there is a concentration of higher-end 1950's homes with completely unobstructed views. There are pockets of newer construction near Titlow Beach, and 1990's style subdivisions down the hill off of 6th Ave.
