What history! Old Town, as its name suggests, was the founding place of the City of Tacoma. Stately properties meet world-class views, all within walking distance of Ruston Way and "restaurant row" on the water. Homes here tend to be older, although there is a subset of more modern houses that capture the view spectacularly. If you like seeing or walking near water - look no further.
Driving Directions“Ruston Way as my backyard? I'll take it!”
If you live in Old Town, you are literally minutes away from Ruston Way: one of the region's most popular and widely-used stretches of public waterfront. Parks, popular restaurants, trails - the works.
Old Town is full of them! Craftsmans, Tudors, Victorians, Colonials, and even rarer architectural styles such as Queen Anne, Revivals, Neoclassicals, and Spanish styles too.
That being said, there is a small but growing subset of modern-construction homes in the area. Almost all of them were built to capture amazing views.
I can't repeat this enough: the views are absolutely captivating around here.
